Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions
1. Rental Overview
The renter (“Customer”) agrees to rent laundry appliances (electric washer and/or gas/electric dryer) from Brewer’s Clean Machines (“Company”) for a monthly fee mirroring the Rental Plan they’ve chosen (Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual) upon checkout.
2. Rental Term
All rental plans are billed monthly via autopay, with payment due in advance of each service period.
All Rental Plans are set for autorenewal.
Customers may cancel autorenewal with at least 7 days’ notice prior to the end of their selected plan.
Early Termination is available but will result in a charge equal to 50% of the remaining balance from unpaid months in the plan. (For example, a semi-annual plan (6 months) at $65 a month where the Customer terminates at least 7 days prior to the start of the 3rd month, will result in $130 being charged to their card on file (as there were 4 months remaining at $65 each).
3. Delivery & Installation & Return
Cost of Delivery, Installation, and Return has been wrapped into the monthly rental fee.
Customer must ensure the space is accessible and suitable for appliance setup. This includes making sure they are approved by the owner or apartment complex to operate laundry appliances from within their home. Ensuring they have the appropriate hookups and that they are operational (ex. hot water, cold water, exhaust/ventilation, appropriate electrical outlets).
Brewer’s Clean Machines is not responsible for delays caused by inaccessible or unsafe installation areas.
If the area is deemed inoperable or unsafe by the technician, no fee will be charged to the Customer and the appointment will be rescheduled with ample time for the Customer to correct the conditions. The start date of the plan will be adjusted accordingly. If the conditions can not be corrected, the Customer has the option to cancel free of penalty at that time.
Customer will provide any additional parts necessary to complete the hookup if not already included within the “Standard Hookup Procedure”. A “Standard Hookup Procedure” includes; 6ft dryer exhaust hose, 6ft cold water line, 6ft hot water line, 6ft washer drain hose.
4. Use & Care
Appliances must be used for personal, residential laundry only.
Customer agrees to operate units according to manufacturer guidelines.
Any misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modification may result in fees or termination of rental.
5. Accidental Damage
Minor wear and tear is expected.
Accidental damage (e.g., water damage, electrical mishandling, physical impact) may result in a repair or replacement fee, up to $300 per unit, depending on severity.
Repair or replacement fees will never exceed the maximum $300 per unit.
Brewer’s Clean Machines will assess damage and provide a written estimate before charging.
6. Failure to Return
If appliances are not returned within 7 days of rental termination, a non-return fee of $300 per unit will be charged.
Brewer’s Clean Machines reserves the right to pursue legal recovery of unreturned property.
7. Payment Terms
Monthly payments are spaced evenly based on the install date.
Late payments may incur a $15 late fee after a 5-day grace period.
Non-payment beyond 15 days may result in service termination and retrieval of units.
8. Ownership
All rented appliances remain the property of Brewer’s Clean Machines.
Customer has no ownership rights and may not sell, transfer, or relocate units without written permission.
9. Liability
Brewer’s Clean Machines is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from appliance use.
Brewer’s Clean Machines will not cover property damage, accidental or through misuse of units.
Property damage through carelessness of technician will be covered by Company up to a maximum of $300. This will cover accidents such as drywall damage during install/removal or scratched flooring during install/removal. The coverage will only apply if deemed avoidable by Company and Customer and the damage was reported on the install/removal paperwork that was signed by Customer. (Paperwork is provided at the end of the install/removal.)
Customer assumes responsibility for ensuring proper electrical and plumbing connections after initial install/removal. The customer will be provided the opportunity to inspect the technicians work and will be required to sign off that they agree proper installation was done.
10. Agreement Modification
Terms may be updated with 30 days’ written notice.
Continued use of rental services after notice constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
